Blitz dump valve HELP!!

My HKS one chirps then whoooshes.

Squirt a little WD40 into it, lubricates it when new before the oil particles in the air lubricate after some use.

Don\'t tighten it too much, then go out for a burn with your window open, you\'ll know if it\'s working OK, mine makes a definitive Pishshshshttttt noise.

Should be loud yeah, i have a Baileys D/V on mine and is very loud.
 
You should be able to hear it dumping even if you blip the throttle in neutral (obv after the engine has warmed up to be safe)
