Hi

I got these problems with a turbo 2 from a friend:

1.) the Boost is too high, goes up to 0,7bar.. why? shouldn\'t it be 0,4?
How can i change it?

2.) now when the boost goes over 0,7bar , the car shakes, i think the injectors can\'t go so high?

3.) now the real problem:
Sometimes (often) the car doesn\'t start up (when it\'s hot),
during the drive the car begins to slowdown, rev meter is jumping from zero to actual rev, engine slows down, then it stops...

What can i do?

Sorry for my bad english *g*

How did you measure the boost? The stock gauge is notoriously unreliable...

(2) would usually be the fuel cut coming in that\'s trying to stop the engine from overboosting.

Regarding (3), when the engine is warmed up, what does it idle like? Any hunting? Does the engine shake at idle?

The standard guage will read upto .45bar positive pressure.
Does the car have a non-standard exhaust?  If so that will be why it boosts higher - due to this extra boost you may be getting fuel cut from the ECU - the hot problem could be down to many things, usual culprit is a tired engine though.

i read the boost with the apexi AVC-R
Exhaust is complete 3" without cat and muffler, just a pipe *g*

3.) the engine works normaly total fine, and suddently loosing speed the rev meter is jumping between zero and the actual rev...
there are no shocks, engine doesn\'t shake etc..
i assume its not igniting? anymore...

Reading what you ahve said you may be seeing spikes of over 1bar - I would think there has been fuel cut - the turbo will be running unrestricted with that exhaust on there - you need to fit a boost controller and check the car still runs fine when under normal boost - if you cant get the boost down then I recommend you fit a restrictor in the down pipe.  The other alternative is to get the car mapped to handle the boost.  As a minimum you need to get a Fuel cut defencer on the car.

can\'t get the boost down with the controller (AVC-R) can only go higher than the 0.7bar
ok sound logical with the exhaust...

about the main problem (3)... any suggestions?

I would say that you have very low compression on one or both rotors - the rev issues may be down to a problem with the crank angle sensor, it may be damaged or there maybe a bad connection.
What condition are the spark plugs in?

spark plugs are just 3000km old,

for the first problem he had ordered a apexi afc neo and 800cc injectors (can these solve the problem?)
he asked me if the differential of the 1990 Turbo 2 will fit into the 1988 Model ? (don\'t really know..)

The power loss issue is being caused by the ECU itself, so without a new ECu or a FCD you will not be able to solve the problem.  Bigger injectors will also require a bigger capacity fuel pump.
I cant say for sure, but I see no reason why the diff should not be a direct replacement.
