What is an acceptable level of boost pressure drop between the turbo and plenum ?
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

There is no such thing as an acceptable loss, it should be made as small as possible within the given constraints.

How much are you getting Tony ?

BlitzBoy

on average between 1 to 2 psi drop, anything more throw it in the bin

Depends at how much boost you\'re losing 3-4 psi.

I seem to remember figures of 0.2 - 0.9 psi pressure drop being mentiond on IC sales!!

Definately, wouldn\'t want more than 1 pse drop realistacally

Carl

As Mike say\'s it very much depends on what boost you are running.
But 2 psi drop is fairly normal at at that sort of boost level.
Some people set up boost controllers and guages to read before the intercooler, but we prefer to set them up after, that way everything is setup for what the engine is actually receiving.
