Is some shaft play on stock twins normal?

just been taking a look at my turbo\'s whilst the engine is out and i\'ve just noticed that i have shaft play on both turbo\'s. There is no play when you push or pull the wheels, but there is play when you wiggle the wheel side to side(about 1-2mm). Is this normal? Is it time i went single turbo or can these be rebuilt?

I wouldn\'t think that any play would do them much good.

As long as the veins dont touch the turbo housing & there is no play in the direction the shaft runs then things should be OK..... when the engine is running oil pressur in the turbo removes 90% of the play, but obviously the less play the better!!
