coolent problem fd3s

Sorry for asking all the questions, but I was just wondering if I could get a quick easy answer for this:

Right when the engine is cold, and I start it up, the add coolent light comes on and beeps at me, now I have put coolent in as has the guy who had it before me.

I cant find the check level to see how much is in there, and also, with the FC I have a valve that unscrews when adding coolent to make sure no air gets trapped. I was wondering if this was the same on the fds? If so where can I find it as Ive looked all over for it.
