This weekend I removed and fixed my twin turbo pack, the housing had come of the second turbo.

Its all back together now and running a bit strange.  It seems to build boost really slowly, almost as though the primary turbo is not coming in properly, however I can make .7/.8 bar of boost at the high RPM range, it just takes a while getting there!

You can start to feel the first turbo start to function and for a second it feels like its going to pull, but then it just drops back and builds the boost very slowly.

Cheers Guys!

Anyone? ;)

Could it be in limp home mode?  I have never experienced this before so I can\'t comment and what the symptoms would be!

Could a broken 02 sensor cause this?  I have read it can be disabled via the PFC?

Once again, it starts to pull briefly, but then totally drops back, if I floor it I can build the revs slowly up to about 4000 when the turbos kick in kind off ;)

I\'m no expert mate, but most boost issues are caused by split vac hoses. Replace them all! (60 in total! ... :D )

who told you that? lol

Yeah most prob a loose hose bud.. can you here a hissing noise when the engines running? think most common leaks are under the plenum m8..

Replaced all the hoses a while back, and have inspected them, will have a proper look at the weekend.

I think im going to simplyfy the system too.

I had an improvement last night, I disconnected the battery and reconnected it, and I also tightened up on of the 12mm bolts holding on the top most actuator on the turbo pack, boosting much better but the first turbo still is not making full boost!

Turns out, I don\'t think I need the 02 sensor either, the apexi ignores it.

Cheers, James
