Is a 40mm wastegate big enough?

Just wondering if a 40mm wastegate will be suitable on my car? My current setup is - Garrett GT35R turbo 1.06 exhaust housing
              Stainless Tubular Manifold
              3" V-band down pipe
              Exhaust system has no cats or silencers and a Blitz nur spec back box
The wastegate will be dumping straight to atmosphere, anybody now if 40mm will be ok?

40mm shd be fine i have the 45 or 40 not sure but think i have the 45mm turbosmart
