I\'m almost embarrassed to ask, haha.

Is that a what a proper rotary compression test should look like? I\'ve never seen one before, only people\'s results written down :o Also i presume thats in bar, and does that look like a good result for a 50,000KM motor?

stylus350

As far as I know those are very good figures. Never seen one done either.

Oedipus Rex

looks like an awesome result for a 50km motor. mine was 8.2 8.4 8.4 --- 8.2 8.2 8.3 fresh after a rebuild.

John Yorke

So he only tested one housing????????????? numbers look to good for a 50k motor

So what would artifically make the numbers look better than they are/should be?

And he tested both, That was off the leading rotor. I have the other set of results somewhere at work, similar figures. (Cant remember off the top of my head)

khyber pass

that\'s a solid set of compression readings (as long as the other set is as good!?)

Mine sits at 6.8s all round...and according to Pip, it was good for a few 10\'s or 1000\'s yet...

Apparently, more of a concern if you\'ve got uneven compression..
