sorry for double post, but theres no way those plugs are coming out from the top. time for plan B.......buy a bicycle :)

will have to get it up on a ramp next week to get at em, still smoke on startup and revs though :(

remove the strut bar and inlet pipe first..
You`ll need a rachet, a long extension and the bendy swivel bit, and the socket for the plugs... may be a fiddle but you can get them out easily enough bud.. takes me 15mins to do all 4 plugs from start to finish lol had alot of practice :D.. id giv ya a had if you drive up to scotland :yes

well, managed to get all the plugs out and clean em up.

By this point i should mention that the car wont actually start anymore.

tried to start again after putting pugs back in and didnt work.

today ive had a local tuner have a look at it, hes done alot of work with these kind of cars and some RX7\'s. After trying many a trick, we tried putting some warmer plugs in (B5ES to be precise). Obviously the car cant be run on these but we did manage to get the engine started. after a short run to wake up the engine if you will, we put in a new set of plugs and she\'ll now start up on those.

Still ALOT of white smoke on startup from reltively cold, and some blueish after that. Im told the blueish smoke will last a while as the oil will have got everywhere. The real  challenge will be tomorrow morning, after a nights rest, to see if she starts.

Idle also hunts after any accceleration now between 900 - 1100, im told that removing the fuse for a while may help this? Ive been told not to do it for a while though. (If anyone has a deciphered fuse box cover thatd be great :) )

We did a compression test while the plugs were out, and it wasnt particularly good news :(.

iv heard that unless its for a rotary engine then the normal compressor things aint very reliable bud.. n yeah she`ll smoke for a while until all the excess oils burnt away..
