What do I need to remove

Hi my 7 has a decat, FMIC, sports exhaust, Greedy Airinx twin filters, I have an Apexi PFC on its way.  Is there anything I need to remove in preperation for this?
My car farts and crackles a lot it is rather amusing but I have heard that you should not run the air, pump with a decat?

How do  go about removing the Air pump - before you all grizle I have looked but cannot find the relevant info!  What else do I take off?

ANy walkthroughs of removal?

P.S. You\'re right, there does seem to be a lack of a "how to" on this one even though loads of people have done it. Can you take some pics when you do it?

define what you man by running well?  Yes it seems ok, idles at 1100rpm and will only boost to about 0.5 bar, think it miht go above but I dont watch the gauge as I speed along!

0.5 bar is too low which indicates you have a problem somewhere fella, my car wouldnt boost above 0.5 a little while ago due to a few things.

i meant more along the lines of running lean. most of the guys will say you should never put a larger intercooler or decat a car with a stock ecu? i have bought a larger SMIC and planning to get a decat but i cant put them on till i get an aftermarket ecu because of the threat of the engine going pop. the advice i have always got was either cat back or air filters or perhaps both any more and you must get an aftermarket ecu such as an apexi.

M4drx is correct...... but the only time you will run lean is when you start to open her out (when the turbos come online) Also I would recomend a boost controler as you will get boost spikes due to the extra flow of the exhaust, which will make it imposible to get a safe map on the power fc as it wont be a constant pressure in to the engine!!

fitted a HKS EVC 5 boost contoller which is keeping the boost under control..
