Fingers crossed, the car should be painted on Saturday! The whole thing is guide coated, just needs sanding down and spraying now.

Ive painted all the door shuts and boot shut, just got to spray the obvious bit now (ie, the car!). I forgot how evil cars look in guide coats. The car got LOADS of attention driving home from the garage today!

SOOOO cant wait to get this finished now.

Thanks a lot, peeps!

Hmm, okay, you can have a colour picture! I really like it! Think it should look pretty individual, not seen too many FD\'s in it, especially not with a Burnout kit? Although Im sure someone somewhere will be able to correct me on that.

PS They look a bit dull, as they havent been lacquered yet. That will be done with the car.

Would be interested in seeing the finished paint job in the flesh so to speak.

What sort of cost are you looking at, if you dont mind be asking.

Looks like the Wine Red Skyline colour, have a mate with a wine red 32 gtr, in the sunlight it looks awesome.

Not keen on the AA van in the rear of your pics, tell me it wasnt anything to do with you lol.

Primer looks pretty cool.

Wow, it looks like there has been a massacer inside the car & the blood is overflowing  out the pannel gaps!!!! cool affect!!!

Looking good, I am doing mine soon (helping my mate who sprays rub it down) how long has it taken you to prep it? Also how did you get such a good fit on the front bumper? I have the same one but doesnt sit as nice as that!!

Andy_FD3

Thanks for the great comments, peeps.

Fish, Ive done all the bodywork myself (including the priming), so cost should be minimal, pretty much just the paint. Its a Mitsubishi colour out of interest. Very similar to the Nissan Wine colour as mentioned above.

Thank you for the comments about the fitment. When I say it was awful when it was first fitted would be an understatement. Its taken me quite a while to get the front bumper to look like that. The headlights didnt fit, the bumper didnt line up with the wings etc etc. Ive basically had to make new lines out of glass on the join lines, blend them together, then refit the bumper. This has definitely been the worst fitted bodykit Ive had to play with so far.

HOPEFULLY, if all goes well, she will all be painted tomorrow, and I can have some pics for you guys on Sunday!

Oh, and gmogle, lol, no, I just pulled into the petrol station, took a couple of quick snaps and drove off again!
