FD3 galvanised?

Hi all, quick question

Can anybody tell me whether the FD3 cars have galvanised bodywork? and where should I look for corrosion on them?

I can\'t say for certain, but the wings are definitely GA (Galvanneal) coated so I\'d assume the rest of the car is aswell.

No Fd\'s are not galv, They don\'t even have much Wax oil in them. I admit i\'ve not seen one with Rusty wings? so maybe there Protected but i\'ll be suprised.

FD\'s Rust round the Bottom of the back arches and the seams of the sills, I have to say you will be hard pushed to find a Jap import that is showing signs becouse of the Jap Weather, But belive me when they have seen 5 or 6 years here or so you\'ll see a few Rusty ones.

Thing is i\'ve seen a few UK cars in the past year or so and i\'ve had to repair one for Rust and i have another Sat on my drive now waiting to have a !/4 and sill fitted so i know what they will look like without Rust proofing in 10 years of out weather.
