lol.. if u use with a short shift, wouldit it defeat the object of changing to short shift as the travel to change gear would prob be same travel as a normal gear stick?

nope, a proper short shift changes the pivot point, making the part below the ball joint longer and the part above shorter.

a bubble shifter would make it a little easier because you\'re increasing leverage and getting more travel in the lower half, if that makes sense!
