Can anyone tell me if series 2 headlights fit a series 3.
There are some seriously good deals on crystal headlights on ebay that suggest they do but obviously don\'t want to get stung.
Thanks

I am pretty sure you will find the only difference is you won\'t have a hole to fit your side light bulb holder in :Thumbs-up

Does anybody know how good the crystal h/ls are for FCs? Seeing that I\'ll have to replace mine sooner or later I may as well...

Thanks chaps - I\'ll ask the seller whether the side-light hole is there or not and get back to you.

yeah i need new headlights as well mines are just as bad as my 96 omega and there crap

grinder

on the FC when you put the side lights on you get the lights up , side lights on and the side lights on where the front indicators are

so there ARE sidelights in the headlights

unless you have a jap spec - and then there isnt :D

Be careful with the cheap ones on ebay......

I was tempted a while back so did some investigation on rx7.com as these all seem to come from the states.  From what i was able to find out on the forum some of the cheap ones from the states have no mounting points unlike standard or the Wise Square (Wise Sports) ones from Japan.  It seams a little different to when i last looked as some of the FD specific one do have mounting points now, if you compare pictures you\'ll see what i mean.....

Wise Square ones - http://img169.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/0/7/6/3/mj_project1995-img600x450-1148395443fd3smr-1.jpg

The other thing is if they are designed for the US market, will beam direction be correct on our side of the road?

It may be thats is easy to fit the mounting points but I\'ve no idea so i left it

mikeyh

do these have the right kick up for over here??

Interested in this as I will need some new lights for the TII.

I was also looking at the ebay lights and the only thought I had was of the beam pattern - if the worst came to the worst then you could always blank off the section that offends the rules (apparantely) but that looks rubbish!  I have heard the ebay ones can be adjusted with the 2 screws and all is well but I want to make sure too! :xconfused
