Bought a comannder...

Ok so I got my apexi commander which I was told was the right one for 92-95 cars. However when I plug it in I just get the Apexi logo, which means its no compatible?:3Confused

the number on the commander is - FCC NT 9807-0205
and the number on the side of my ECU is -PFC FD3S4 000-0389

Are these compantible? If not what commander will work with mine and what ECU will my commander work with?:confused:

I already looked at your guide and my ecu number and commander number dont match any you have listed, thats why I made the post. Any ideas?

where did yoiu get the power FC???

In the car when I bought it, was previously mapped by RE:WORX so its obviously meant for an rx7.

You have the latest version of the Power FC for your car "FD3S4" meaning series 4 of the ecu, the commander you have is for the older version "FD3S2" ecu series 2.

PFC FD3Sx 0000-0000
"PFC" is PowerFC, of course. FD3S is for the 3rd generation RX-7 (of course). The "X"
after the FD3S (or lack of the "X") is the key. Here\'s a chart for the FD3S codes:
FD3S - 96-98 RX-7 old version
FD3S2 - 92-95 RX-7 old version
FD3S3 - 99+ RX-7 old version
FD3S4 - 92-95 RX-7 new version
FD3S5 - 96-98 RX-7 new version
FD3S6 - 99+ RX-7 new version

Also if you buy a brand new commander, it will be a universal type which will work on all versions of the POWER FC for the FD RX7

model 415-X001 you can still buy them on their own from Nengun
