Hi all,

Looking to get a couple of bits to keep an eye on the engine vitals, especially for the track!

First off, 100% going to get RE:A boost gauge cover for the top of the steering wheel cowl. Much needed I think!

But was thinking a triple DIN gauge holder and get oil temp, oil pressure and water temp... But then would also look to get a Power FC and commander.

Reading around, I can see intake temps and water temps from the commander, the OP gauge on the stock dash is good enough really, afterall as long as there\'s "normal" pressure fro the driving you\'re doing it\'s all good really.

So thinking if I get a power FC all I\'d need is oil temp... Is there anything else I should be monitoring with these cars?

Many thanks!

Mark

the standard oil pressure and water temp gauges are useless mate id replace get them and oil pressure, i would also be tempted to get egt gauge as well if your thinking of track. im sure someone else will be along to agree with the oil and water gauges before long,

Cheers Matt, I was thinking that you can get accurate water temps from the Power FC right? Then as useful as Oil Pressure is to know, it\'s more a relative thing I\'ve found, so if you\'ve got the same OP as per usual coming out of Paddock say then you\'re good to go ;) But I can see what you mean that it\'ll be worth while.

Now EGT could be well worth while! But I\'m limited for space really as Idon\'t want any A pillar gauges or dash mount, I like my view, just personal preference ;)

Did I hear of a DIN panel that has the commander electronics in it?

If its the one im thinking of there is a converter which puts commander in a din plate, requires a bit of soldering and stuff though have to take your commander apart. Although think it was meant to be straightford if your ok with electrics

Have also seen a din plate that houses 3 gauges....

I think that\'s the one, does anyone know where to get something like that?

I picked up a 3 gauge DIN plate (cheap as chips!) so just deciding what to do really...
