Welcome to the forum!  Nice to see another 20 year old willing to be shafted by the insurance companies :p

It cant be said enough - be careful and take your time to get used to the car.

Mate im only 21 now and got my first FD nearly 4 years ago now...but i came from a host of fast rwd\'s to begin with...

How on earth did you get Insured on an FD as a First car at 17?????

Hehe had a well paid job, also the only cars i had been driving were 2.8L-5.5L...i went through a host of different insurers and ended up paying near £6k to be able to drive all the cars on the drive...atm i still pay £2200 and thats with 2yncb! So how you guys get away with sh!t cheap prices i dont understand!

Amen brother!!  Mines not too far below the £3k mark right now - and that was brokered through a friend in the industry.  Insured at 17 though - fair play :Thumbsup!
