got a 1993 type r1 in gleaming black. just a couple of quick q\'s

firstly, oil to use is 10w40 but does it have to be non-synthetic i.e. mineral based...

and, how do you know a rebuild is required...

Generally, rebuild required every 60-70,000mls I think, depending on use.

Oils, mineral based, 10w40 sounds about right, although there are several threads about which is better so best to do a search and read up
