Anyone got the above fitted to their FD? Whats the opinions? At present I have Tanaka Racing shocks and RS*R springs (never heard of these tbh) and it is harsh. Looking to soften it up a little.

Cally,

I have the  Bilsten shocks as supplied standard on a 2000 RS. They are about as stiff (ideal for me) as I would want to go for street driving but too jittery for bumpy backroad use.

They are similar stiffness to some Tokico Illumina adjustable shocks on the 1st/2nd hardest setting (out of 5) I have for my MX5. Fine for smooth roads but I can go faster over the local backroads on a softer setting (and it stops my teeth falling out).

So.... good for street, too hard for backroads, too soft for racing. Hows that for noncommittal.

well i get these parts at trade through work so dont have to worry about budget. Dont wanna spunk 800 quid on some tein coilovers for them to be as hard as the current suspension though.

k sport coilovers man think you get them @ £495

Teins are quite crashy. I had Eibachs on my Scooby with stock suspension and they were fantastic.

For prob best off the shelf stuff, I\'d go for Aragosta but they\'re very pricey.

I can get bilstein and eibachs for under 250 brand new so probably going to go with that, unless someone is going a nice group buy on some tasty coilovers!!

k sports and D2 are the same just sold thru diffrent name but made in same factory

usually k sports sell for 100-150 cheaper than the d2\'s
