How would a set of 17 x 8 +34 and 17 x 9 +34 look on an FC? Any problems?

I have the same size rims with a 35 offset and they are good,   dead flush with the arches,  if its lowered, you will need 40 profile tyres or they may rub on the arches if you have 235 front and 255 rears.

What springs do you have,  the only thing you will have to watch is the front springs dont touch the inside of the tyre, i have coil overs which have small springs.
The stock spring is quite wide.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

I run 17x7.5\'s on 225/45\'s all round with no problems - offset is 35mm.  With wider tyres on the front\'s you may lose a little turning circle due to rubbing, but there is plenty room with stock springs on the back of mine - so you should get away with bigger rubber on those :cool

Does the lower offset stick out from the arch or go inside more?

I\'m going to get a decent set of coilovers in the future and have the opportunity to get a very nice set of Mazdaspeed/Rays MS01\'s with the above sizes.

From memory, the offsets are quoted as ET - for external and I can\'t remember the other, but for ET35 wheels, the outside plane of the wheel is 35mm from the hub horizontally.

There is a good tyre bible link here
