Does Anyone Know What Gas Is In The Air Con Of A 93 Fd?
 
Is It R12 Or R134a?

R12. There is a replacement gas out there for this. R12 is banned now so may be difficult to obtain.
Best ask your friendly neighbourhood A/C man.

the replasement for the R12 is a Gas call FX56.... but im not posative that its R12 in car AC.... all the ones i do are R134a and i do ref and AC for a liveing!!  it should tell you on a plate or on the side of the comprssor housing..

It\'s 100% an R134a in my \'96. It says on the back of the pump. Can probably check it if you remove the elbow and look at the back of it.

it will tell you or you can call mazda and ask for tec dept... give them you make model and year of the car and thay can tell you what ges and how much it needs.
