hi. used to have a turbo 2 about 6 years ago - just about to get another and i am going to do a little tuning - why not!. Last time i had one of wgt\'s \'chips\' which i think just altered the boost signal  and a decat pipe. This this the way to go or should i be looking to start tuning in a different way. any thoughts will be helpful. Thinking that i would like to end up with around 300ish bhp so any mods i make i would like to be for the long term rather than just have to change the last mod when the next goes in.
thanks

you may squeeze 300 flhp with a good engine that been slightly ported on the stock turbo but you would need a big exhaust all the way through, preferably a FMIC and some fueling.  If i were you i would decide exactly what you want to do before you actually do anything.    There is soooo much you can do and your not as restricted as some people think you are.

Pick a budget, then the power you want then look into ways of getting it.

For example,  you can either spend the money on an ecu to run the fuel (plus you need a pump and bigger injectors) and have things mapped properly or run extra injectors with a seperate controller.   you will need a mildly uprated clutch to benefit from 300 fwhp

A nice turbo II with a De cat, air filter and running a 10 - 11 psi makes a really nice car if your not chasing quater mile times
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
