Hi guys, Im going to upgrade my primaries to 850cc from 550cc and was wondering if i can lower the duty cycle on them so it wont run to rich so i can drive to get it remapped? Or shall i just take the new injectors and car to a specialist to sort.

Any opinion welcome.

Thanks

You ideally need a after market ecu to change the injectors and i think the primaries are different mount injectors (one side mount, one top mount) if your thinking of using another set of secondaries as primaries.

Do a search for additional injectors, you could increase fueling by adding more injectors and installing an extra injector controller.

How modified is you car ?

Sorry i should have said that i have an Apexi PFC, Apexi filters and FMIC. I had a chat to Pip at WGT and he advised 850\'s for primaries if i wanted to increase the boost further the last time it was mapped as im still running stock twins.

I just had an idea that i could reduce the duty cycle by a certain amount because i know that im going from 550\'s to 850\'s if you know what i mean.

On my track civic i run AEM, on this ECU i can change the injectors and the fuel map will change according.

Thanks

Your probably best getting pip to sort you out. I think you can swap the primarys size quite easily in the pfc, but im not completly sure about the injectors. Maybe pip can sort you out with the right injectors !

Dredging my memory.

You have to change from 550 to 880 like you say but there is also something else which you will have to chenge the figure for - damm it I cant remember.  If I do then I will post back up asap

lowsy brain! :(
