hi lads just brought a 1990 mazda rx7 turbo ll and wanted to know if any one knows the stats on the car like bhp weight and 0-60 0-100 and quarter mile time on the standard setup if you could help woul be mint got some pics for you anyway enjoy

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of FC ownership - I hope you like rust (just kidding!)

When your car left the factory in 1990 (to the sound of Vanilla Ice), it would have had :

BHP = 197.26
weight = 1360 kg
0-60 = "around" 6 secs

These are the specs in the 1990 sales brochure I have.

hummm i read its 202 bhp - but this is at the fly

so prob about 165 at the wheels ( 18% transmission loss )

0-60 - i would say high 6\'s

1/4 mile - i did this 2 yrs ago - and stock car with just the main cat removed best "I" got was 15.07 @ 93 mph ( or close to that )

prob with the FC - not a long enough 3rd gear for the 1/4
