hi  can anyone please help
Ive had a problem starting my car last 2 weeks. it starts and when its about to turn over it cuts out. i thought it was a flooding problem. so a friend came and checked it .hes convinced its not a flooding problem but something to do with the throttle control valve or idle control valve i cant remember. he said its got a connector on side and 2 pipes coming out of the other side. he suggested i get someone to do a diagnostic check on it first. read a few post on error codes but not sure how to connect wires in diagnostic box.can anyone give me an idiots guide on how to please.
And if it is that valve how much and where from

thanks

im not 100% sure mate but my car was doing similar things kept trying to start u could hear it fire but it just wouldn\'t strike up least of what i thought was it could be flooded but it was

I think its fairly easy to flood the rx7 if you dont run it up to temp and stuff like that check out the thread for unflooding and try it ya never know it might just save ya a few quid buddy let me know how you get on.

Someone might well correct me just speaking from experiance.   :Thumbs-up
