Fitting A De-Cat

Hi All

Ive just got my decat mid section today, I found the wire on the drivers side of the origional cat and understand its fine to just remove it. What about the pipes going to the off side??? I believe these are some thing to do with the air pump but I may be wrong. Am I ok to just disconnect themas well or will it muck stuff up. Lastly ive got a decat down pipe coming as well are there any connections on that I need to worry about???

I don\'t know about the downpipe, but it\'s fine to disconnect the air pump pipe.

I did mine and now the air pump vents under the car instead of in the cat, so you hear a bit of a hiss now and then.  

When you disconnect it, check out the gasket between air pump pipe flange and cat.
Mine had a tiny pinhole in, how air got through that into the cat I dont know?
