hi people, i just had a new clutch fitted, and the gears are crunching when trying to change gear normally.  i had the clutch bled and its still the same.  is it cos the clutch needs bedding in more?  has anyone had this problem before?  i had a FC before and it was the clutch master cylinder, is this a fault on the FD too?  please help

You can adjust the clutch pedal for bite from drivers footwell. Also whilst you are on your back doing that, check the retaining bolts for you clutch master that come through the bulkhead above your clutch pedal. If there is fluid running down then the master has gone. It may only be a dribble so use a good torch. If the master has gone, as my one did change it for a new unit. I did and what a fantastic difference, you can do the seals but the unit is going to be over 10 years old, your call. HTH. :burnout
