I think if it has a sun roof, it may be a type X, which mine is, but most type X\'s are Auto, (correct me if i\'m wrong Guys) hope this helps Dave

if its definately a uk car think they only had one spec didnt they, i.e fully loaded.

Price seems like could be genuine, prices seem to have really dropped for rxs lately, hurley have a bit of a dodgy reputation but I think that may be more customer service related than quality, i\'ll leave that to the people who have had dealings with them

If you want to double check that it is a genuine UK car then look at the chassis number stamped on the bulkhead as all the other bits can be swapped (except sunroof of course!)

Jap Imports start FD3S and UK cars start with JMZ

UK cars come with 2 cats (one pre-cat in downpipe) Sunroof, rear storage bins, cruise control, ash tray and drivers door cubby box.  If unmodified then it will quite happily run normal 95ron fuel as this is what it was programmed to run being sold for UK market - think thats it?

To me it does seem a very good price, as the UK ones are SUPPOST to hold there value as they only sold 123ish and offer you lower insurance.  There no reason to get it for low insurance as it will not apply because it has already been modified and will therefore command a higher premium.

its not moddified though mate only exhaust which wiont affect bhp.

Ricco_04

But that means it is modified!  When I was getting insurance quotes, If I hinted that even the back box was different (and not performance) then the quote went up something stupid!

You can get away with it if you dont mind risking it.

HTH, Ricco.

UK ones are reccommended to run on 97RON BTW according to my owners manual.

Sunroof is standard on UK spec :)

Good price, bit gutted as I bought my 92/93 for more than that, did have a replacement \'new\' engine under warranty before I got it though :)

Insurance doesn\'t seem to make much difference as most companies do not have a UK car listed! Most will argue that there isn\'t a UK model, all are imports, that it has to be an automatic as their computer says so or that it\'s a 2354cc!

cheers

Agree about the insurance totally!  Jap ones are more lax on emissions too so that make\'s them more MOT friendly.

If I had have known what I know now then I would have brought an import!  But im not gutted as I love my car :D
