I\'m not sure why you would want to do this, but it looks a nice job.  :D  :yes

not seen this before,  i like it.  I can see exactly why people do it.   1000 BHP!
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

I bet the weight distribution is f***** I wouldnt trade a rotary engine against another, at least as a source for the fd.

antnicuk

it gives the indication it was for drag use, in which case a ilttle weight difference aint gonna matter,  also,  loking at it,  it is well tucked back into the bulk head, i dont think there would be that much difference in weight dist.  A fully packed FD engine isnt that light!

the static weight distribution isn\'t everything.
The No.3 plug is inline with the front axles line. if you look at a 13b the front of the engine is roughly in that position and much much lower (the alternator sits on top of the engine and even that is lower!) Therfor the polar moments of intertia (its kind of the cars "resistance" to being rotated abouts its centre of gravity) is going to be much greater for a car with a larger lump even if it weighs the same

antnicuk

true,   i think.....  but give me a thousand BHP any day!
