For downpipe I would recomend the HKS one, very good quality at a senseable price.  :yes

Had mine fitted recently- impressed with how much power it helps free up! (with de-cat, exhaust, ind kit and Power FC) Went from 229rwhp to 322.9   :evillaugh

As for midpipe/de-cat, I went for Dragon straight through- good but LOUD!!
Get a silenced midpipe if your concerned about noise levels, only downside is they cost more

Hmmm.

Well when i had my twins I ran a HKS downpipe which I was more than happy with, that joined to a RE:Worx unsilenced mid-pipe.

It was loud and i\'d say my car now sounds much nicer with the silenced mid-section :)

Hope that helps

Yes thanks mate that does help, i want to de-cat but don\'t want to upset the neighbours, what make silenced pipe did you use please? and what tail pipe/main silencer is that with?
cheers Bob

I heard that the HKS item was not stainless steel? and infact mild which puts me off a tad. I think i will go for a silenced mid pipe as long as it dont strangle to much power, i want to get all this done along with my new IC and rad, should prove fun when its mapped

Silenced midpipe will not affect power, just makes less noise ;)

Hey,

Quite correct about the HKS downpipe, it\'s actually cast at the top end where it meets the twins.  This is actually quite good because mild steel behaves better under very high temperatures than stainless.  You won\'t find a power gain from using a s/s downpipe but it\'ll look better when you run people over  :p

First thing to note: US downpipes won\'t fit - because they don\'t have the steering rack to worry about they are shaped more "conventionally"

I would seriously reccomend the HKS DP.  There are some fancier ones about but they tend to cost more $$$ and don\'t offer much.

For the mid pipe i think all the uk players make their own - dragon, reworx, etc.  Go with one of those you\'ll find that they are good value and performance.

Yeah to be honest who sees the DP and Decat lol, what i do want to know is how the DP will work with a single turbo? as eventually i will go for a single, would i require a different DP again?

Yeah, changing the turbo will require a different DP.

Most single turbo kits come with a suitable downpipe.

Well HKS DP are pretty cheap so it wouldnt break the bank to buy one and then sell it on a later date when i go single..

I asked the very same question about the DP - the other reason is that they wont rust (assuming is used a lot) because they always go super hot when you use the car!

As long as it dont crack then it does not matter, besides i am going to lag the thing anyway lol.
