help on ecu

before i stick this on ebay thought i would ask on here first.
I have upgraded to an apexi ecu and comander but was told when i bought the car the ecu in was allready an uprated one as it had the to4 single turbo conversion.
How can i tell i have took a picture, i thought it was a knightsports uprated one but it doesnt say, i thought you have to run an uprated one to go single turbo?, any ideas, is it a standard one of uprated?

Looks like a standard Mazda ECU to me, did you have upgraded injectors already on the car when you bought it?

to be honest im not sure, i have them here now, i allways thought you had to have done with the single turbo conversion

not always the case im afraid, sometimes the car seller in Japan will retrofit the ECU and Injectors to the standard ones to sell on.

If you have fitted the Apexi ECU yourself without needing to change the injector parameters on it and the car runs as before the change then it would indicate that you have standard Injectors fitted to you motor.
I bet my bottom dollar if you opened up that ECU it has a standard EPROM in there and not a Knightsport one.

So uprate your injectors and map that ECU, as you will defo be running lean top end with that turbo

Oh no thats the thing i have uprated 1600cc injectors 044 pump fpr the whole lot on now, im just seeing now that this maybe was not a uprated ecu after all, ill have a look inside then, cheers!!

ahhh I see from another post you have already gone bigger T88 and Injectors already.

That would confirm that ECU you have above is defo standard, and the injectors you originally had as secondaries are standard 850\'s
