Boost under 5 PSI what is happeing

Hi, i have been having some recent problems with my boost, it has been a little off for a while with it only boosting 8-5-10 and i know that is wrong but it worked and i dont drive it to hard, but now every now and again the boost wont get over 5psi and it sounds shocking i have check the hoses and i cant see anything wrong! any idea\'s anyone?

Boost leak!!!!
Check your rubber intercooler couplers, they tend to split, spilts opening up as the car warms gettting bigger letting more air out, beware the splits normally hidden by the jubilee clips.

i Also forgot to mention that my idle seems low , even to the point i almost stalled when coming up to stop the other day

yep the low idle also points to air leaking in the system. If I was you , I would take the intercooler pipes off and the rubber couplers and give them a proper inspection rips and cracks. The rubber coupler off the Y pipe is the most common for faults

Checked the pipes this arvo all looked ok , it seemed to boost better but a little iratic got 8psi on first then a little dip then up to 10 on the second but it sorta bouced between 9 and 10 sounded a little strange as well like it was struggling to get the power down might be time to bite the bullet and go see pip again!
