They are very rare, I\'m sure RX4\'s are 4x110 so you are really stuck for choice. If you are lucky you might find some for sale secondhand. OR you could try importing some from Aus/Japan OR buying some new ones (eek!)

so rx4\'s are 4x110\'s?? so in terms of gettin wheels from somewhere like halfords or somewhere (i wouldnt get them there btw!!) they use measurement like "195/65 r13" i know the r13 is like 13" but what bout the other 2, and where does the 4x110 fit into it all??? as far as wheels go, im clueless!!!!!!! HELP!

195/65R13 is just the tyre size.

195 is the tread width in mm

65 is the sidewall height expressed as a percentage of the tread width (65=65% of 195)

R stands for Radial belted tyres which is to do with the construction of the tyre (older cars sometimes had crossply tyres)

and the 13 is the diamter of the rim where the tyre seats in inches.

4x110 is the stud pattern  e.g. 4 studs equispaced on a pitch circle 110mm in diameter

To buy an alloy wheel you also need to know

The width between the beads that the tyre seats on (rim width ... usually in inches and increments of half inches e.g 6.5, 7, 7.5 etc.)

you may also see a "J" or "JJ" after the width, this indicates the type of bead on the rim. J is just a single bead and JJ is a double or locking bead which makes it harder for a deflated tyre to come off the rim.

The offset. This is how far the flat mounting face that sits on the hub is offset from the centre line of the wheel

The centre bore diameter. This is the diamter of the hole in the centre of the rim, some cars use these to locate and centre the wheel. As far as I know early RX\'s do NOT use the centre bore to locate the wheel.

The rim diameter, this is the diameter of the bead where the tyre seats and is usually given in inches and increments in whole inches e.g  13", 14" 15" etc.

So as an example on my rx7 I am running

205/50HR15 tyres (forgot the speed rating ... but that lives just before the R)

the wheels are

15x7JJ with a 4x114.3 and an offset of -40mm  (I forget the centre bore)

Mike is referring to the PCD, which is, the bolt pattern. This is the distance between each hole where the bolts go, - quite important, dont you think? :-)

There arent many cars made with that PCD, and I think Mazda changed it in the 80\'s sometime?

195 is the mm measurement of the tread, left to right ( the width ).
65, is the profile, the size of the sidewall, or - that is how high is the tyre ( distance from the rim to the top of the tyre), but its not in mm, 65 indicates a percentage of 195. So, the height is 65% of 195mm.
