HKS evc 3 settings help

The cost was a re-build, but had done 65k miles anyway.

Mine was about 500rpm at idle, rough as feck and wouldn\'t tick over with air con turned on - just struggled.   Boost guage was jumpy at idle too.  Still pulled like a train tho!
If urs idles at 800 thats gd,  so its just chugging when you floor it?

no  just when going slow   on pick up   if i drop it down a gear    and boot it  she is just as norm    and everything  behaves the same boost turbos the lot  its just at low revs   going slow  i dont sopose it could be anything funny like my clutch as i have been needing a new 1   and all it did was burn   when i had the evc hooked up  they dont do that when they slip do they

No, clutch wont cause that.  
I wonder if its a bad O2 sensor , when u floor it it goes into open loop so would drive normal again.
Or try this 1st, being as it only started happening after u connected the evc, did u dislodge the ground strap - firewall to UIM?  I\'ve heard of similar symptoms caused by bad ground.
Is it worse with A/C turned on?
You could try adding an earth strap from battery neg to chassis.

ill take the  evc out on saterday   only  time i have to look at it because of work   been looking in to an earth strap looks like they are a good idea

just taken her for a run   i sat her on the drive for 5 mins ticking over  and   she seemed ok  so took her out with air con on  as you said  and revs did  not  drop  but  still does not pick up right   im wondering if it could be the sparkplugs  or somthing /  still be the weekend befor   i can fully have a look

right  got the car back to stock  well evc off anyway ,i think its  just not firing right    and have got to thinking that all of the cars probs are because it needs  better spark plugs as its just running the stock 1\'s at the mo.going to get some on order and have a go at changing them    the oil and fule filter  at the same time
