coolant sounds like it\'s boiling after drive?

After reading all these reassuring replies, I\'ll add my slightly less cheerful one; you\'ve just described the exact symptoms I was describing to a friend two days before my tips/seals failed on Friday.  Apparently the excessively loud boiling was due to the cooling system being over-pressurised through the leak from the combustion chamber into the cooling system, causing some very enthusiastic high pressure high temperature bubbly action  :)  The leak down the drivers side of the coolant system was presumably due to the whole system being so pressurised that the liquid was forced to escape through the relatively low-pressure seal lid on that overflow tank thing.

I\'m not saying that\'s what\'s wrong with yours, but mine was doing exactly the same thing, and that\'s what I think was causing it in my case.  I hope you have better luck than I did...

My rex gurgles after a run always,  amongst many other strange noises lol,  I would be more concerned if it didn\'t,  it has to push coolant to and from the expansion tank if the system\'s pressurisng correctly.

It shouldn\'t gurgle provided the system is maintaining pressure properly. Gurgling is a bad sign and usually indicates that there is a leak or compression gases have got past the water seals and into the coolant. The gurgling occurs because the AST can\'t remove the gases faster than they are being introduced into the system.
Pop down to a garage and ask them to test the coolant for compression gases.

Mine doesn;t gurgle but if I lift the bonnet and listen closely I can hear a bubbling sound if I\'ve really been hammering it.

just an update, i replaced the pressurised cap after my last post to this thread a few days ago (got it from a local motor spares place for a fiver) and it\'s been perfect again since :) no burbling or leaking. yay!
