Exhaust Noise Reduction Silencer for Rear Box

Trying to find a donut-shaped piece to slide into my rear box (beg pardon??!! :rollin ) to reduce the diameter and thus the noise for my visit to the ring (this thread is getting worse !!).
I\'ve seen plenty of Jap cars with mahoosive rear boxes with those two drilled holes where you slot in a silencer piece, fix it in with screws, thus reducing the noise, yet can I find a company that makes them ? My rear box is 5" which I think is the problem. I\'ve tried Reworx, Dragon (who made the exhaust), Motech, Tweeks, a whole host of exhaust manufacturers, any ideas ?
If I arrive at the Nurburgring and they don\'t let me race it will be on the 10 o\'clock news !!!

Sorry cant help with the bung, if the tail pipe is 5" rather than 4" I think u will struggle to find some one to lend u one too. Whatever, get it sorted one way or another before u go as they ARE looking for loud cars and DO reject RX7s - we know!

Those bungs make a really horrid noise and kill power too, so if worse comes to it beg/borrow a quieter can for the trip.

They binned Phil on my first trip, no messing. Last time we went prepared - BIG exhausts but with BIG silencers

I borrowed a 4 1/2 inch one from WGT and made my own (easier said than done) to match my 4 inch pipe.  Does the job fine (ie no headaches on Motorways).

give miguel a try, i know he sells a little kit that is effectivly a disc that rotates (to your adjustment set via an knob inside the car) inside the exhaust to reduce noise levels
