I\'m sure this has probably been asked before but I couldn\'t see it anywhere:

How much will a standard re-build cost.  For example If you bought a Car with 60k and wanted the engine re-built for peace of mind how much would it cost you.

It really depends on what needs replacing.

If you go for every single part as new, a bit of port work, removal and installation it could be over £3000.
