What are the pros and cons of having this done on a imported car and what tools/underseal would be used to do it?

Thanks

Matt

one pro is that the chance of rust under the car from winter are greatly reduced.

thats all i\'d care about up here in ultra salty Scotland:wave

Matt, not sure about what make underseal to recommend, Clive will know as he used about 4 cans of the stuff! 1 can does a car. :D

You would need a ramp of sorts and an air line with a spray nossel. Most garages should be able to do this, and it shouldnt cost a fortune.

Thanks very much, over here in Blackpool its very salty also, so i want to have it done, just wondering if theres any downsides (like spraying over everything under the car :)

Thanks

on a related note i\'ve been looking at some soundproofing liquid called quietcoat that you literally paint the parts of your car with and it drastically reduces noise. one of the reccomended things it that you have the underneath of the car sprayed with the stuff. 3 coats of it. any ideas of how much this sort of job would cost if i provided the material??

(certainly beats stripping my carpets and seats out to paint the metal floor of the car!! )

I think it can only do good, its only a protective coating. I had mine up on the ramp on Friday so I got to have a look at mine. Just like a black coating really.

it\'s worth having done imho, meant to be quite a messy job though yourself. I had my waxoyl done by motormall for about  Â£50... i\'d get it done tbh, best safe than sorry
The Beatles were prats.."Money can\'t buy me lovveeee".. utter rubbish. You can buy love here

Buy my car foo! :D
