Hi all.

I have a PFC on my car, and I know that the light in question sorta becomes a diagnostic light. It has flickered on occasion, usually when it thinks the exhaust pulse is a knock (around 2500-3000 rpm @ 75-80 mph). But thats by the by... the problem is I had an alarm fitted today, a Cobra if that means anything. Since I picked the car up the exhaust heat light is on constantly, from the moment the ignition goes on to when I switch off.
Anyone else had this problem... Anyone know what it is?

Rob.

No-one knows about this?

I asked this question on FDUK and Donato replied;

if its on permenatly james it could be that the sensor is making contact with the body of the car and thats causing it, could have been disturbed during the rebuild... other people have had it stay on permanantly after getting alarms fitted

Cheers James... I guess I\'ll remove the bulb then. :D

On another note, and totally ot... The alarm fitter cleaned my interior up after him, all well and good, except he used cockpit spray. I hate silicone!!! Whether its on my dash or in boobies!
