Hi Guys and Girls, finally got my rx7 back today after my new engine was put in so i am running it in at the moment. The reason for this post is that i would like to recomend Hurley enginering in Coventry if anybody needs a new engine. Mike was brilliant he kept me informed all the way through and was a pleasure to deal with. So i guess he will be getting buisness from now on.

my personal experiance which put me right off them is described here although it wasn\'t engine rebuild related so hopefully you\'ll have no probs although i have heard a few shocking tales of their workmanship....but dont wana scare you too much.....

Just to keep it a balanced

Si had a bad experience, however Hurley built the ported engine in my car [b4 I owned it] and I\'m into my third year and so far so good.

Although for my recent servicing I\'ve chosen to take it up to Pip in Cheshire.

After all its who you feel does you a good job and the ppl you like.

Thanks guys for the info. I just whish i had a rotary specialist here in South Wales.

i\'d of thought Ross in Exeter would be closer/better for you? (Dragon sponsor link at top of pagehttp://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxdm46052GB\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_3_6.gif\' border=0>)

i too wish there was a rotary specialist in south wales, although i have used hyeline in cardiff for a service who didn\'t seem bad, steve there has some knowledge of the rx\'s.

but i wouldn\'t use hurley for the reasons you have probably read.
All they did was fit the engine in my car and they couldn\'t do that properly.

where are you in south Wales

Jasoncoed

Thanks once again, i have to take my car back up to Hurleys after ive done 1500 miles for a service and check everything is ok.After that i might try the place in Exeter. Dean i live in Pentywnmawr which is between Blackwood and Newbridge, so not far from you.

yea mine was supposed to go back at 6,000 but i decided not to bother and it it serviced elsewhere, its a hard decision but i think you are right to have the 1500 service with them in order to protect your \'warranty\' then see how it goes.

best of luck have to meet up sometime, i occassionally make it up to blackwood to see a mate of mine with a Supra TT
