Hi all,
First drive out after I had the HKS Hypermax fitted.  I keep getting this rubbing noise from the back everytime I go over a hump.  Are the shocks gone? or are they just like that?
Also, how do you adjust the damn thing??

help please   :wave

They maybe set to soft or to low or a bit of both.
Inside where the reat strut brace would go are the 2 nuts that you use to stiffen the ride, lift the plastic covers off if you cant see them.
Look under your wheel arch at the struts and you will see a large nut that goes around the hks strut, use the spanner you should have got with it and use this to adjust height.
Be careful not to over/under do one side more than other as you may upset the balance..

I had HKS on my yellow car and she drove great round nurburg and spa with them, I was very impressed.

Cheers Gary, will have a look at them tomorrow.
There shouldnt be any rubbing though.  It\'s actually set higher than my old suspensions.  The car doesnt grip now.  Went out for a test drive earlier.  Went round a roundabout at only 40-50 mph, the back end started to slip, whethers with my old suspensions, I could have gone a bit faster without any drama.   :xconfused
Will give you a call soon about the bonnet  ;)

Thanks

Mine increased the traction amazingly.
Mine did rub first time out to LeMans, someone had adjusted one side lower than other but some nice chaps in france so adjusted her for me and took plenty of piccys for there garage wall.
Check the camber has not been wrongly put in as it would through the tyre out and may cause it to rub and give bad handling. Or wheels are now not out of alinement.
Bad handling is not what you should have from your suspension, might be worth taking it back to the garage that did the work to get it checked out.

The ride high was only increase by 10mm or so.  The alignment shouldnt be out by too much?  Will get it aligned again never the less.  Just hoping the shocks are ok.  Got other plans to spend money on, really not looking forward to having them rebuilt  :(
