Try getting intouch with JonathanF matey... he was selling a quick reacting inlet temp sensor a while back & they work a dream!! got on on mine & it shows it all in real time on the PFC display rather than the delayed...... Oh, the temp is now 15c: after 20 mins of driving with the stock sensor!!

I\'ve got a standard one hanging around somewhere. Email me on nikp75@googlemail.com

Got mine direct from jon on here.... think that is being sold by dragon, or one of the tuners??

The quick reacting one is a triumph motorbike sensor.

DR SCHNITZEL

could you get one for cheap then or does it have a bespoke wiring thingy etc? whats the part number.

This is the listing in ebay, I think that Ross can sell you one as well, but I have no idea about his price.

I\'m thinking about getting one myself, but I don\'t know if it\'ll be of any benefit in a standard car.

Standard car or modified car doesn\'t matter, all it means is the car is getting the correct fuel mix for the air temp ;)

If you imagine the actual air temp going over the sensor is 15c but due to the heat soke uyour ECU thinks it is actualy 20c...... incorrect fuel mix at that point until the trapped heat disapated!!

Cool, I needed one anyway and I\'d rather upgrade than change for a standard one again.
Any idea of how much should I expect to pay for getting one fitted?

Thanks
