Has anyone tried this, as I am considering this as a cheap mod, but I don\'t know how to use it effectively, nor how much I would gain.

Could anyone shed some light on this for me.

Cheers,
Sean (being a bit thick):wave

Gman

I would like to know too.

Don\'t they just use a spray bar to cool the intercooler and should see a 10C or more drop in charge temperature. Does exactly the same as an Ntercooler (from NX), with the benefit that CO2 is dirt cheap and easy to come by.

Sean

I spoke to a chap with a 13second Orion:eek:  who uses one, he rekons it improves performance a lot and is cheap. I was wundering if anyone on here has done it?

Also, how would it be used? A short burst before a sprint, a continuos stream?

Is it very effective on a standard IC?

I just don\'t have a clue, thats my problem:rolleyes:

I have heard just use a water spray bar or jets, it can be made up of any washer jet system from a scrap yard. If its good enough for Scoob STI\'s, why not....

Sean

I suggested that to the bloke with the Orion, he said that CO2 is much colder than water, and hence more effective. Plus it\'s cheap and easy to refil.

I think I\'ll try doing it myself ...... How hard can it be?:bandit

On another note ...... anyone know anything about water injection? Or would running the two be overkill, and cause problems with the inlet temps being too cold!

Hi,
Just make sure that the air filter has no way of sucking any residue into the inlet tract, as this will be fatal.
