Hi people :wave

Just watched my Evo drive away and have been thinking about it\'s replacement for quite a while.  Wanted an rx before but the Evo came along.

Got my eye on a nice looking 95 with a tasteful kit and some nice rims etc, also car has a rebuild 1k miles ago with Re-worx (I think he said).  Guy probably comes on here (as he\'s had it 5 years) so hi if you\'re reading this;)

Reason I\'m writing is because I want to know about hiking the power on these babies.  My Evo could take 1.6bar for circa 360bhp, I appreciate the RX7 is going to be fast as it\'s 2wd but is it straight forward to add a slight boost increase etc, sort of stage 1?, or are they at fuelling limit as standard.

Anyone tell me what bhp std 95 model is?, it\'s got a stainless exhaust (only, inc de-cat)

I had a GTR skyline running circa 400bhp which was nice but just wondering what to expect performance wise from a standard\'ish 95 RX

even in standard form due to their low weight the 7 is fast but dont expect it to handle like an awd evo.these are rear wheel drive and need to be treated with respect or they will bit ur arse in a flash.if u are thinking of power increases then with a freeflow exhaust and airfilters and a apexi ecu u can easily achieve 320 flywheel power..much more and u shld really be looking for a single turbo conversion with a rebuild.my single is running 1 bar and 418bhp flywheel.once water injection is online am expecting around 460 flywheel abou 370-380 rear wheel with a bit more boost shld be able to hit 500flywheel

Thanks for the info.

Aware of the RWD \'biting\' issue as I\'ve had a few in my time, plus the GTR (as a lot of people don\'t know) actually handles more RWD in the bends (as it stays RWD to stop understeer).

Around 300bhp would be nice, and it seems (from what you say) easily accessable?.  The car has a fresh engine so hopefully I can get a reliable power hike from it?.

Looks like I\'m going to see it tuesday night anyway..

oh don\'t worry I will do my friends:D want to leave it til at least the weekend as I don\'t want you getting too jealous (as it\'s probably the best looking rx ever);)

Got a couple of probs to sort out (if anyone reading this wants to look in the engine forum section) but JESUS TONIGHT what great cars to drive.  Why didn\'t any of you muppets tell me about these babies sooner  :rollin
