I\'ll attempt to get some pics over the weekend and post them up.  Out of interest, does anyone know where to get really cheap window tint spray from?  I was told it can be bought for as little as £2.99 a can, but Halfords sell for £14.99!  Also, has anyone had any experience with spray tinted front indicators and/or side repeaters?  My front indicators have been sprayed pretty dark black and they dont exactly light up particularly well!     I was hoping I could find some extra bright bulbs - or even better, extra bright orange bulbs!  Any ideas???

You\'ll have to be careful with the tinted indicators. And you can\'t really put in brighter bulbs as you could overload the indicator flasher unit (the little F100 box ECU #2, precious little things!).

There was a bloke down my way a year or two ago who had dark tinted lights on the back of his car. He got rear-ended by a police car and someone got killed. The lad with the tinted lights was done for manslaughter (or they tried to do him anyway) of some sort - can\'t remember exactly now what the outcome was.

The tint you want to buy in a can - is that for doing lights or are you intending to do windows with it? If you do the lights then make sure you do them very lightly. If it\'s for the windows, give it a miss and get them done prefessionally with window tint film. the rear window on the Rex is a bastard to do on your own thanks to compound curves! You\'ll spend more on wasting film that it\'ll cost to pay someone to do it proper like.

I had a large crack in my fibre glass afetrmarket bumper fixed, cost about £400 cash job at a body shop, so I think what you are paying is about right

The rest of the body shops I tried were £200 plus more

The tint spray is for the side repeaters to try and match them to the front indicators which the bodyshop sprayed.  He has sprayed them very black.  I dont want a car that could cause me problems with the law - unnecessarily!  ;)   Is there any way of getting the tint spray OFF of plastic indicator covers?  If so, I think I would like to do that and then respray them very lightly.
