YIKES... New \'7\' today - coolant leak? HELP PLEASE!!

They are doing a coolant pressure test, but I guess the only way to know for sure is to get a compression test done on the engine...

If they diagnose/fix the coolant side of things and I then get an independant compression check done on engine.. and comes back bad (ie. re-buid time) - do you think I would be within my right to ask for my money back at this stage? (have only driven the car twice - (1.) when I picked it up (2.) when I returned it to garage yesterday)

Not sure what my rights are?

Bye the way I\'m in Sutton, Surrey.. are ReWorx in Portsmouth my best + nearest bet for a comp test + servicing?

Well... just a little update on my coolant/overheat problem:

Re-filled coolant system and drove back gingerly (low revs) about 40 miles to garage - no probs - no overheating etc - got to the garage feeling a bit of a plum - but still insisted it be checked out...

Garage pressure tested coolant system + took out radiator, sent it away to pressure test it as well - turns out radiator was 60% blocked and there was a slight slit on one of the hoses - so replacement rad has been ordered and pipe to be replaced...

I hope this is the solution to my initial overheat? I\'m not that mechnically minded, but would these symptoms make the car overheat? thinking about it steam did come from the rad when it overheated...

Will get car back next weekend - only time will tell I guess...
