Hi all,

Awaiting delivery of my new motor which I have been told has 18" Andrews racing wheels on it.  I have\'nt seen the car in the flesh so only have photos at the min.  Can anyone give me an idea about how locking wheel nuts might fit on these wheels.
And then where I might be able to get hold of some.
It may already have a locking mechanism already, but I don\'t know.
Cheers Matt

Same as any other locking wheelnut once you have removed the centre cap.

Cheers Lee but was thinking that I could only see one centre nut so is would that be the only nut holding the wheel on the car???

Sorry if I sound a bit thick!!!

Nah that will just be holding the centre cap on.  Once you unscrew that then there will be 5 nuts holding the wheel on.

Only trouble you might find is you could need a small nut to fit down the gaps in the wheel.  I have to use a socket to take my wheels off, as a wheel brace etc wont fit into the wheel itself.

First time I\'ve had a car with these types of alloys on.  Thanks for that :cool

Hi Clive,

Thanks, it should be ready in about 2 weeks after registration.  It is with Motormall at the min in Kent, the guys who do all of Newera\'s cars.  I believe it failed SVA on emissions originally but I\'m hoping it goes through fine second time round.  I\'m really looking forward to getting my hands on it now!  I\'ll more than likely be bringing it to a few shows.  There are a few people on here who want to have a good look at it!  Never had a car before that has attracted this many compliments!!  Credit to Miguel.:cool
