After what felt like the longest summer ever with no FD after blowing it at rotorstock i have finished stage one and am finally back on the road and running in the engine!

I was very worried about turning the key as i put in the following mods

Non Sequential conversion
PFC
FMIC
Air pump removal and battery relocation
Uprated fuel pump and secondary injectors
Wgt midpipe and Racing beat rear box

I am very happy with it so far...looking forward to getting it mapped!

Just like to say thanks to

Pip at WGT for the rebuild/advice/answering of constant emails questions phone calls....if i kept carrier pigeons im sure i would have sent him them as well!

Thanks to Bob for helping me taking the engine out and putting it back in
and thanks to Robbie for the advice and help with the start up process.

Oh and thanks to all who helped me on the forums (MRC & FDUK) by answering my questions, thank you all for your help!

I would love to post a picture of my shiny new engine but the photograph is to big to post  :(

Anyway, stage 2 mapping
Stage 3 respray
Stage 4 interior
Stage 5 win the lottery to pay for it all!  ;)

One very happy (cautious as im running in!) FD owner!  :D

Pikky resizing you can use http://www.myimager.com/ if your cant just do it with any basic paint etc packages on yer PC
Can empathise with the missing most of summer stuff & damn it\'s good to be able to play again....good luck with the restraint/runnign in thing & look forward to seeing yer beasty (CAR!) soon....
