Recently my 12at has been pretty sluggish, and drinking even more fuel than normal(!!!).It refused to start for the first time ever the other day, until i noticed a little wire had come out of the microtech. After inserting the wire back in,it started first time.My query is this,if there is a loose connection with this wire, will it affect performance in any way?Or am i losing compression?I need that lie i need another hole in my ass!

hiya there, if you are wondering if it is low on compression then just do a compression test yourself. There would be guys on this forum that can supply you with the right comp numbers.
Try Carl Hayward and the like.
In my VERY LITTLE experience with microtech computers unless a wire falls off( as you said) then it usually has to be one of the add on bits(distributer, coils, etc) that is to be found at fault.
Sorry this isnt too much help
