know anyone who does small vinyls?

Hi there,

I\'m getting a set of wheels refurbed and will lose the markings on the centre caps.  I\'d like to replace the markings so am curious if anyone could sort me out with vinyl small enough.

Pics of the centre caps if that helps.  Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Corr that\'s tiny!

Unfortunatly you\'d have to get that screened on as vinyls can\'t be cut that small.

Although I don\'t think it\'ll look bad without the logos - probably give it a nice and clean look.

Another way is to cut the vinyl by hand with a scalpal which would take ages!! (Nope I\'m not gonna do that probably lose a finger or two in the process)!!

Or pay a huge sum of money to have a few stickers printed! (very small run doesn\'t make it economical).

Cheers mate.  Plan to see what they like without logo\'s but it would be nice to replace them. (not necessarily in blue though...)

They are pretty tiny though.

Contact you\'re local sign shops out of yellow pages and ask if any of them use a \'Gerber Edge\' machine.

That machine will do the job and won\'t cost the earth.

I can certainly draw up the "Super ADVAN Racing" bits for ya if required. I\'ll just need to know the diameter of the overall metal ring and also the hole in the middle.

The measurements are:
5.5 inches diameter of overall cap.
2.5 inches diameter of hole
3.75 inches diameter of outer edge of blue ring.

Don\'t go to any effort just yet, I\'ll see what they look like on the car first and PM you if I think they need the vinyl\'s.

Gonna drop the wheels off on Saturday and hopefully pick them up the following weekend if my tyres arrive in time!  When I drop off the wheels I\'ll see if they\'ll do the recessed blue ring in black for me without a huge extra charge.

Will also try and negotiate something off the list for myself and the club and post it up if I\'m successful and they do a good job.

I was chatting to Dave at //www.carartz.com and he says that they would give it a shot as he doesn\'t think they are that small. He\'s prepared to have a go it, and if they aren\'t happy they wouldn\'t charge you for it.

If you\'ve got an e-mail address I can use to contact the person you;ve been speaking to, I\'d be interested to know how much they\'ll charge (assuming it comes out okay).

I thought the fact that they\'re shaped like a concave dish would have created more problems though

But if they\'re thinking of a reasonable number then I\'ll probably go for it.  No harm no foul, eh?

Reckon you could draw up the logos for me?  colour probably irrelevant but black would be perfect.
